Recently my SETI application was having problems as follows immediately upon completion of a unit: Starting computation for result 01ja04aa.16435.3712.965896.11_0 using setiathome version 3.08 ACTIVE_TASK_SET::insert(): can't delete file slots\\\stderr.txt Unrecoverable error for result [see above] (Couldn't start the app for this result: error -110) This continued through another 6 units. After network activity was allowed to resume (June 28, 5:23 CDT), all results were deemed errors and were replaced, and since there have been no problems. I'm running Windows ME, SetiBoinc 3.19 for windows_intelx86, Pentium 1.3 GHz with 128(?) Mb of RAM and 24 GB of free space on the hard disk. What can I do to keep this from happening in the future? |
