Could Lunatics' members of rank squire and upwards, that have Windows 32 bit machines in need of optimised app install or upgrade, visit the beta testing thread at http://lunatics.kwsn.net/public-release-beta-forum/win32-installeer-nt-upwards-2nd-public-beta-rc4.msg17352.html#msg17352

What we need is to test the basic functionality of a Unified installer prototype, designed to simplify installations, with a view to target users less confident with editing app_info files & locating boinc folders etc.

At this point, rather than targeting the complete novice, we are working from the assumptions that the user at least knows what SSE Level their platform is, knows if Cuda applications will or will not run on their system, and has the desired stock applications running on their machine (therefore Boinc is installed and functioning properly, attached to Seti@Home).

If some or all of that sounds like you, and you have access via the link above, feel free to post your experiences in that thread.

Cheers very much,

Jason G
