Seti GPU WU's getting stuck, I'm having one at random get stuck and have to be restarted almost constantly, Meaning I have to either turn Boinc off and then on or suspend the WU in question and then restart the WU which doesn't always work, Restarting Boinc 6.6.20(XP x64 sp2, V11 for the gpus a GTX295) does of course usually work, But I've not needed to reboot the PC for this yet. Because you have two CUDA apps runnig you could try to use "cross watch" mod - look Lunatics thread for it: http://lunatics.kwsn.net/12-gpu-crunching/v11-of-cuda-mb-mod-attempt-to-restart-freezed-apps.0.html |

Do you have any overclock? This will happen if OC is too much. Also check your voltages under full load. I never had a problem playing games; but had to add a second PS. My 12v bus would drop out to <10.5V during full crunching with the single 850w and cause cuda tasks to lock up but still count et. Same as you describe for restart. Do you have a ups or kill-a-watt? You can play with clocks and under volt/clock the core and mem and over the shader to save power but still good speed. Btw, I am using v11 with crosswatch enabled on a q6600 so ymmv. Awesome! Glad to hear you got it sorted. :) "The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not Eureka! (I found it!) but rather, 'hmm... that's funny...'" -- Isaac Asimov ![]() |

[Hey Raist, Do You know what this means? Nope. There is no such line in CUDA MB sources. |

[Hey Raist, Do You know what this means? I had the same message a couple of weeks ago when, for some unknown reason, the GTX295 "lost" the second monitor (my HDMI TV). I had to go into the NVidia control panel to re-attach it and everything was hunky-dory again. Has only happened the once so I put it down to "one of those things". F. ![]() |
