or maybe it was done on purpose?

Anyway, on the Tasks screen, where the new filter options were recently placed (they're great, thank you) when you click 'Pending' and a WU has a result of 'Completed, validation inconclusive ------ pending' it's left off the filtered list.

I know this is a REALLY little thing, but if it was unintentional, I thought someone would like to know.

it would be nice to see them in pending filter.
BTW, these filters are great. Saving so much time.

I passed on this suggestion to the boinc_alpha mailing list (together with the sweetener that the innovation was "universally popular"), and it looks like the fix is already in the codebase: changeset [trac]changeset:17726[/trac]. Don't expect it to show up on this board for a few days (until the next code update), but it's on its way.
