Then it should be told. I am a member of enough of forums, I don't want to add more to them, if possible.

A Vista gadget is interesting to me, but not necessary. It also depends how big it is, if I have the space for it, I already have several gadgets showing. When I can't download and see it, because I have to sign up on some board I know I'll only visit for that one time, then the BOINC manager is Ok to me...

EDIT: I can see it hasn't been added to this site: http://www.gadgetsforvista.net/, I did a search and nothing with BOINC came up.

I renamed the extension to a .gadget and worked fine

nice look and works when BOINC is paused (unlike the other gadget I tried)
