Very Long Anyalisis of a work unit

Im doing a work ubit so far it has taken 2 days 18 hrs and 58% done. I usally go thru a work unit in about 4-5 hours or less. It was recorded at aricebo April 2 2008. Actually another question for you knowing folks what part of the sky are they now looking at. I have the sky map and I think the larger green box is where the telescope is aimed. |

You have an Astropulse task. That is a reasonable run time for that type of task. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |

You have an Astropulse task. That is a reasonable run time for that type of task. Read the article by the Planetary Society on the SETI home page and you will understand why Astropulse takes so much time. I finished my first WU in 115 hours and am still waiting foe my wingman to finish. Tullio |
