Now we buy everything we can't make here with quality, Their back has mended well. And now that they've signed up with the world bank they'll be in the same boat as we Americans. Oh... and the EU. Now we buy everything we can't make here with quality, How does this have any relevance to the necessity of utterly breaking the Japanese will to wage war? Cordially, Rush elrushbo2@theobviousgmail.com Remove the obvious... |

Just an interesting side note in reply to your back breaking commentary. "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss |

Just an interesting side note in reply to your back breaking commentary. Standard liberal tactic . Try to change the subject instead of manning up and admitting you're wrong. |

Standard Neo-Con reaction to non violent historically accurate side note. "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss |

Standard Neo-Con tactic. Call someone who disagrees a "liberal" and summarily dismiss their view as "wrong". Don't forget to question his patriotism. That's next in Karl's play book. Join the PACK! |

Just an interesting side note in reply to your back breaking commentary. Beyond the side note, do you now understand why it was important that both their ability and will to fight was utterly destroyed? Cordially, Rush elrushbo2@theobviousgmail.com Remove the obvious... |

Standard Neo-Con tactic. I've already questioned his patriotism numerous times and he IS wrong about Japan's treatment of civilians during WW2. |

It was still a war crime. How long might the war have continued.........sorry....I do not know. Or apologize. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Standard Neo-Con reaction to non violent historically accurate side note. Actually that's a standard response from ANYONE smart enough to recognize your diversionary tactic for what it is. |

It was still a war crime. I don't seem to recall anyone outright denying that it was...but I've seen lot's of grateful Americans none the less. |

It was still a war crime. So what? Even if that were true, it was done to save millions of Asians and any number of Allied soldiers. Cordially, Rush elrushbo2@theobviousgmail.com Remove the obvious... |

It would be interesting to read an alternate history novel based on the premise that... the Japanese Nuclear Weapon program had succeeded before Japan got bombed.... or that the German Nuclear Energy program went in the right direction and had succeeded in creating a fissile weapon before Berlin got overrun by the Allies.... .....hmmm |

It would be interesting to read an alternate history novel based on the premise that... Kind of off subject, but C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America (2004) is a satirical "documentary" on what America would be like had the south won the Civil War. |

As much as everybody can argue, after the fact, namely that Japan did get bombed...I'm sure either they or Nazi Germany would not have hesitated in using the weapon had they got it first... History revolves on pivotal moments and unless you subscribe to the Many Worlds Theory of Quantum Mechanics you just have to live with history... well even if someone does subscribe to that, you still have to live with it...because we don't and wouldn't know any different. Kind of off subject, but C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America (2004) is a satirical "documentary" on what America would be like had the south won the Civil War. There's a whole series of books by Harry Turtledove including the Timeline 191 series that deals with the Confederate States... |
