Deliberately create problems, and then offer only those solutions which result in the expansion of government. Create conditions so frightful at home and abroad that the abandonment of personal liberties and national sovereignty will appear as a reasonable price for a return to domestic tranquility and world peace.

Problem --> Reaction --> Solution ... ;)

(Create a problem, observe the reaction, offer a solution.)

The same Edgar Griffin who was expelled from the Conservative party for assisting his opponents?

Wow...who would have expected YOU to quote someone like that...

If you mean kicking him out of the club instead of telling lies about him and trying to have him impeached on false charges....you know, the exact opposite of what liberal pieces of crap try to do.

Then yes it does...

Nice to see somebody else read the book Jeffrey references (it's basically the same idea as the false wars in 1984). What this has to do with 9/11 I don't know. Is there evidence that 9/11 was a deliberately created problem to create conditions in which the US citizenry gladly abandoned their personal liberties? If so I missed that.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Apparently so... ;)

Perhaps somebody can explain what this has to do with 9/11 to me. From what I can see rate of unemployment started to increase at the end of 2000 and while it they may have levelled off a little at the end of 2001, it did not start the current decline until mid 2003. To my eyes, 9/11/01 did not start or stop any trend.

Guess MrGray has a big yard, the quote aside, nothing of substance in over four days. Still no answer to the objection to my use of dust cloud. Oh well.

(09/01 is in blue)

Why do I need an appointment with the eye doctor?

Court: Saudi Arabia not liable in Sept. 11 attacks

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/sept11_lawsuits

By LARRY NEUMEISTER, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 56 minutes ago

NEW YORK - A federal appeals court has ruled that Saudi Arabia and four of its princes cannot be held liable in the Sept. 11 attacks.

The appeals court issued the ruling Thursday, saying the Saudi defendants are protected by sovereign immunity. It also agreed with a lower court that a Saudi banker and a charitable organization cannot be held liable.

The Saudi defendants were among hundreds of other defendants sued by victims of the attacks, including the families of those who died.

Other defendants in the case include foreign governments, charities and individuals alleged to have provided financial and logistical support to al-Qaida.

I guess this together with you last post means we're now off talking about the "anomalies" of the day and into the "wider picture". Does this mean you now accept regular commercial airliners hit the two towers? That Larry Silverstein had nothing to do with the collapse (by whatever means) of WTC 7? That it's possible a regular airliner hit the Pentagon? That the WTCs 1 and 2 did not collapse at free fall speeds?

after the start of war, it goes down

Not because they got jobs, but because their unemployment insurance ran out... ;)

(That little ten year graph is actually very 'revealing'. Funny that it fits perfectly into my story, but not into the official story.)

Not sure that the rate of unemployment is any part of the "official story" of 9/11. Also not sure what you mean about it being revealing, I'm still waiting to find out why I need to see an eye doctor for failing to see a trend starting or ending with 9/11.

To get people out of work? The internet bubble burst in 2000 did a better job. To get people in a job? Unemployment doesn't drop below it's 9/11 level until mid 2005. So not very effective there either. I appreciate you prefer to heckle, but sometimes a little detail goes a long way.
