"CENTER OF THE BIBLE"

Q: What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?

A: Psalms 117

Q: What is the longest chapter in the Bible?

A: Psalms 119

Q: Which chapter is in the center of the Bible?

A: Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118

Add these numbers up and you get 1188.

Q:? What is the center verse in the Bible?

A: Psalms 118:8

Q:? Does this verse say something significant about God's perfect will for our lives?

The next time someone says they would like to find

God's perfect will for their lives and that they want to

be in the center of His will, just send them to the

center of His Word!

Psalms 118:8

"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."

Now isn't that odd how this worked out (or was God in the center of it)?

I said a prayer for you.? Got a minute?? 60 seconds for God?

All you do is say a small prayer for the person who sent you this.........

"Father God bless my friend in whatever it is that you know

he/she may be needing this day!

May his/her life be full of your peace,

prosperity and power as he/she seeks to have a

closer relationship with You.

Amen...
When things get tough, always remember..
Faith doesn't get you around trouble, it gets you through it !!

I've read in the Bible, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

I would be interested in reading that verse. Do you know what it is?

P.S. - if you cannot find it, I am sure Jeffrey will help you out. He's the polar opposite of BrainSmashR. Does that mean you like him (enemy of your enemy is a friend) or do you hate them both equally?

Come on now guys......
Quotes? Dang, the Bible is one big quote.
Treat others with respect, and treat yourself with even more.

I have come to know God later in life than is good, and I don't go around thumping others on the back of the head with a bible, but I know lots of folks that could do with a little churchin' up.....
Me and the kitties.....we're on a crunchin' Mission from God......

God helps those who help themselves, Michael. You cannot save those who do not wish to be saved.
You may lead the way, but you cannot make them follow.
Take joy in the fact that you have planted the seed, but do not lose hope if others will not help it grow.
Keep the faith and follow it where it leads you in your life.

Way to go Michael. As stated in one of your previous threads...Thanks for the website, I still have it bookmarked.

As we used to say in the transport industry, "Keep On Truckin'" in your case, substitue "Truckin' for "Laughing".

Have a good 'un, friend.

Keep smilin' Michael.

"Dammit Is Not God's Last Name" was sung by Frankie Laine in 1969. It appeared for only one week at just #86 on Billboard's "Hot 100" on June 28, 1969.

For everybody: These coincidences are due to the people that laid out the Bible, and not divine, I don't think. Maybe it would be better to measure the number of pages before and after the aforementioned verses, but that might vary due to printing inconsistencies.

What does Frankie Laine have to do with my post?I also counted the pages using the virtual bible at GodTube. Its better to believe in the divine than nothing at all.
