Since we have switched to the new Multibeam application, we have seen a big jump in the number of pending results. This is due to a combination of things. One is that we have switched to an initial replication of two and a quorum of two which means that only two results are sent out to start with, and you must wait until both results are in to get credit. If one result is sent to a slow computer, or one that is not responding for some reason, then the wait can be quite long.
With the initial replication of three, the two fastest computers to return results would trigger validation whether the slowest computer had returned it's result or not.

Another reason is due to the longer deadlines for the new work units. If you are paired with a non-responding computer, then you must wait until the deadline passes before a replacement is sent out. This wait is much longer with the new work units than we had with the older "linefeed" work units (used with the original SETI and thee SETI Enhanced applications).

As Jim said, you have to wait for credit until your result has been Validated against at least 1 other result from an independant computer. Occasionally it take a second validation if the 2 results returned are weakly similar or not similar.

You are in luck for your oldest result listed, it just validated and got credit a few minutes ago. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=163661332.

Most of your other pending results are less than a week old, so I wouldn't worry too much yet. If you want to see some long pendings take a look at Oldest Pending Date.
