A friend of mine has sent me this, which is apparently a famous poem from the second world war. I can see its about bits of guns but I can't see what the trees have to do with it? Here's a mundane explaination of the poem: 'Which in our case we have not got.' I'm wondering if 'branches' has something to do with the "piling of arms".. With stacking them? |
