I kind of toyed with the idea of getting a Playtstation and doing that PS3Grid, but then I read they pull 380 watts. That's more than two quad cores. |

Go to the Einstein@home message board Cruncher's corner. In a thread dedicated to the PS3 you'll find a link to a pdf file containing an article by Jack Dongarra et al. Dongarra is one of the leaders of high performance scientific computing. If he takes the PS3 into account, there must be a reason. Tullio |
