Aw, phooey!

For a moment there, I thought I was going to have a chance to explain why Time Travel is Impossible in this Universe.

And *without* having to use any complex math either.

I'd still love to hear it. 8-)

Keep in mind that Douglas Adams teaches us that nothing is impossible, just highly improbable.

I want the complex math, more Douglas Adams quotes and some old-school Ozzy tunes.

Me too, plus all those paradoxons and oxymorons, and the complications in grammar which will appear if time travel is possible :^D

Have you seen any tourists from the future?

I have a hypothesis that time travel is only possible going forward, but not back in time. The 4th dimension (time travel) doesn't have a direction. One simply cannot face one direction and move backwards faster than the speed of light and expect time to move in reverse, rather time would still travel forward but the individual would be moving in the reverse direction.

Unless of course, Dr. Sam Beckett's String Theory is a little more accurate than we all thought. ;)

I've seen tourists from the future. They're the ones pointing and laughing their backsides off.

The trick to time travel is face in all directions at once and stand completely still in reference to all objects in the universe. At that point, the fifth dimension becomes accessible and everything becomes funky and groovy all at once. Don't forget your towel.
Hopefully the cosmos is not trying to reverse the charges.

I like threeways, personally. Only with two of the opposite.
