Two wus have been successfully returned on both the ones you listed. It seems that in both cases, the answers they gave weren't "strongly similar", and so the server sent the results out to a third user and is awaiting his answer to see if it can validate the WU. Also, you're still using an optimized app which is either 3-4 generations old. Faster ones exist if you're insterested. I see you're using: Version info: Windows SSE4-Core 2 32-bit V5.15 'Chicken Good!' (R-1.41|+more_vec|xT) |

It looks like the two results aren't strongly similar enough. It looks like it's waiting for a third result to be returned successfully. Ya beat me to it Astro! |

A little explanation. The initial replication is 2, meaning they only make two copies of the wu and send them out. If there's errors reported, it's late, or the returned ones don't validate, the servers send another one. Here's the first WU you listed: 1 597085564 3495865 23 Aug 2007 12:07:26 UTC 23 Aug 2007 12:10:41 UTC Over Client error Downloading 0.00 0.00 --- 2 596520216 3719055 22 Aug 2007 21:51:08 UTC 22 Aug 2007 21:52:17 UTC Over Client error Downloading 0.00 0.00 --- 3 577131247 2921877 23 Jul 2007 19:24:39 UTC 24 Jul 2007 5:26:07 UTC Over Success Done 3,530.02 31.50 pending 4 572010437 3578190 14 Jul 2007 23:11:47 UTC 23 Jul 2007 19:09:04 UTC Over Client error Compute error 5,969.13 35.52 --- 5 597527182 3224356 23 Aug 2007 21:15:42 UTC 30 Sep 2007 7:07:47 UTC In Progress Unknown New --- --- --- 6 572010438 3489739 15 Jul 2007 16:30:56 UTC 23 Jul 2007 14:09:06 UTC Over Success Done 12,281.00 35.52 pending 7 572010436 3587507 15 Jul 2007 16:30:35 UTC 22 Aug 2007 2:22:40 UTC Over No reply New 0.00 --- --- The initial ones were numbers 4 and 7. Number 4 errored and 7 never returned it, so number 4's was sent to 6 who finished it. Number seven 7 failed to return on time, so it was sent to 2 after the deadline for 7. Number 2 had troubles downloading, so it was sent to number 1. Number one also had trouble downloading, so it was sent to number 3, who also finished it. Now they (3 and 6) weren't strongly similar to eachother so another copy was sent to number 5. When number 5 returns his/her, we'll see what happens. Now, all wus are subject to the following maximums: max # of error/total/success results 5, 10, 5 (as can be viewed just above the results on the wuid page) This means if any of these are exceeded, the wu will be counted as a failure and no credit will be issued. The count on this is now 3,7,2. |

If I am reading Astro's cut 'n' paste correctly, is it also possible he saw --- under granted credit and thought this meant 0? --- simply means it needs time or more data before making the decision of how much credit to grant, right folks? Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

I have tons of units pending. Not sure if it has any bearing on this thread though. I Desire Peace and Justice, Jim Scott (Mod-Ret.) |

I have tons of units pending. That's what my post was getting at. Seeing the --- in Astro's cut-n-paste made me think of it. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

... That particular version also has chirping which is not quite as accurate as it should be, leading to occasional invalid results even with Line feed work. The increased chirp range of Multibeam work will make the problem worse. RottenMutt, please upgrade as soon as possible! Joe |
