I have been trying to download the seti work since yesterday! It keeps failing, and does not dowload! There are many other people having the same problem as I am having, and no one seems to be giving any annwers!! It keeps on saying, Access to reference site succeeded - project servers may be temporarily down. This is getting very annoying, and if no good answers are giving I will get rid of the programme from my computer! Its a shame because I am very interested in the research. Christopher. |

If you read other forums, you will learn that they made some major changes by bringing on the Miltibeam data. This has caused some database issues, and everyone is having issues. Until they can fix things, which could take several days, work will be hard to get. Please watch the Technical News Forums, and read there. You will learn best by reading that and the Number Crunching Forums. They are best to read through and understand what people are saying. ![]() My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |

i have found that IF one simply leaves their box connected to Berkeley - it takes care of itself - the NEW Equations work slightly different and the Uploads / Downloads are 'eventually' gettin' through . . . @ least they are for me . . . Hope this helps . . . richard |

ANd is STILL down - se my previous post and the timestamps ... Yes, most of us are aware that it's not 100% at the moment. There are other Boinc projects you can choose to attach to in the meantime.... Otherwise you need to have some patience. It's 8.23 am in Berkeley at the moment....I'm sure the guys are just waking up or getting in to work. I don't suppose you'd want them to come in to work in the middle of the night to fix it....?-) |

I gotta say...... Some folks act like they are paying Berkeley for support. Hmmmm....that's an idea....have you contributed to the project? Otherwise....this is a volunteer effort on your part. Feel free to un-volunteer. ![]() |
