Every body has a story.

Scars or Bruises.

We all have them.

Do yours tell a story?

I have a small scar on my forehead.

I don't remember how I got it but was told when I was 4 I skid (slid) across the kitchen floor and hit the cupboard door..

Maybe that is why I love sliding around in the snow..

When a drunk driver hit me, doing 80-100 mph, back in 1994 as I returned from an interview ... I found my only scar was on the back of my right hand. Soon, it took the shape of a heart. It lasted for much of the following year. I have not been able to see it since.

It would be cool to have a heart shaped scar.

How do you know the driver was drunk?

Did the driver just hit your hand?

Sorry ;o)~

On the inside of my left heal (ankle) I have a birth mark.

Someone must have held me by the foot and dipped me in a river..

I have several scars. I got the first from a surgery I had to have when I was a few months old. I have 3 from different times I fell off my bicycle (bicycles and ice patches don't mix well). I have one from the time that someone stabbed me in the hand with a pencil. I have one from a whittling accident. I have one from a motorcycle accident (the other driver wasn't looking). I have 3 from the surgery following the motorcycle accident. I have one on my back from a very minor surgery.

I have partial albinism (partially albino skin, and partialy normal skin).

His car struck the rental car I was driving.
He sent me spinning.
The song I had playing on a cassette did not stop until the car stopped spinning and came to a rest. The song was "Under a Silver Moon" by the band Dream Theater. (And ... there's a picture of a burning heart on the cover of the album.)

I know he was drunk because he stumbled up to me after both of us got out of our cars and apologized, slurring his words. Plus the police confirmed it upon their arrival.

His car caught fire many many minutes later. I wonder if it exploded after we were taken away? The fire department had not arrived yet.

Then there's the time I swam in the college's fountain a week before graduation.
And, 16 years later, the scar is still there.

Bless your soul but you must tell your story.

On my upper left wrist I have a long white scar.

I got this from a girl on my local paper-round when I was 11.

She thought I was looking up her skirt (I wasn't) and she picked up a stone and slashed at me..

All I remember is that I thought she was beautiful.

It bled so much.. That was ages ago.

Some are more than scars on the body.

So true but we can make them less painfull if we accept people into our family.

People do not need to suffer alone.

For us.
