This is one of several good Tech Law sources. :)

http://techlawadvisor.com

This blog from copyright lawfirm Goldstein & Howe PC is also quite good, but you have to search off the main page for your sub-topic of interest. Here's their Grokster case report, as a sample.

And this is the link for their sister blog, a reporting of current law news called "Roundup"

And, last but not least, the Grandaddy of legal news reporting, "The Jurist", run by professors at Pittsburgh University Law School. This was the first online legal news reporting service and it's done nothing but grow. Hundreds of lawyers are involved in the project now, and most members of the legal profession read it daily.

His efforts, along with those of other white hackers, are the only ones who are really keeping the major corporations from getting too greedy. They know that if they go too far, their hardware and software will be hacked to death. ;)

Many "white" hackers are actually "grey" hackers. And many of them are too good at it to ever be caught grey-handed.

Hi Andy!

That's a very interesting post. Let me think on it some: I'll get back to you. :)

Hi folks.
Thanks to the tireless work of Eric and others of admin, we now have the new non-SETI science and Politics forums! (Big round of applause!)
Now, I didn't know they were going to do that when I started this "In the News" thread.
KWSN - MajorKong has, upon my request, moved several of my posts into that forum, splitting them up into certain individual threads. (Big round of applause for KWSN - MajorKong, as well!)
Looking at some of the other posts in here, I was not sure what thread to suggest. Plus, what about some of those originally posted by someone else in this thread or the posts that generated some discussion? Any ideas for applicable threads for some of these other posts, dear readers?
Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes.
