wuid=199441915 The report of the upload was 17 seconds after upload, because of asking for new work. (It was not a 'no command' error! For the 'insiders' here.. ) I read at an other thread, that a script because of the 'validate errors' is running. I'm not a professional, how it works? I must post the 'validate errors'? Or the script will find the errors automatically? At which time (UTC) the script is running? It's this server: fix_missing_results - ptolemy ? |

wuid=199441915 Matt's latest reference to the script is here. Looks like it is kicked off manually every day so I guess the timing could vary. F. |

I'm not a professional, how it works? I must post the 'validate errors'? Or the script will find the errors automatically? Matt says that they find and fix "a few thousand" each day, so it's automatic - you do not have to post the numbers here. I very much doubt that Matt ever reads this thread, now that the problem has been found, understood and the script written as a work-round. It's this server: fix_missing_results - ptolemy ? NO. I still don't understand what that server process does, or even if it ever runs. |

wuid=199441915 ..done..! I found a 'validate error' from 13 Dec 2007 19:00:06 UTC and it's not fixed.. It's not my machine, so I don't know what happened at the userside. Not all 'validate errors' will be fixed? EDIT: OOppss.. I found the prob.. the report of the result was after deadline. |

Here's my wu with a validate error: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=209430498 Did not see the status of the work unit update to "Ready to Report" from "Uploading". It simply disappeared from the display. The workunit that was acknowledged approximately one minute before: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=209430637 I'm using Crunch3r's enhanced BOINC. Here's my wu with a validate error: There is a possibility that the request for work (red) triggered a report for the completed task (blue) even though the task had not been uploaded (green) |
