Because there are so many people complainting about S.E.T.I. and BOINC and the people at Berkeley, I decided to tell my positive story.

At this moment I have Seti@home classic as well as BOINC running on my computer. I have no problem with BOINC, because I let it get work units for 30 days. Once or twice a week I try to exchange wu. At this moment I have about 10 wu that are finished and can be uploaded whenever I can. At the same time Seti@home classic is happily crunching one wu after another.

And all the time I keep smiling. My computer is crunching 24/7 and what would it do without S.E.T.I.? I am only trying to help S.E.T.I. to crunch some wu. That is what I came for and that is what I'll keep doing, until S.E.T.I. calls it a day ...

And think about this: why did YOU start with crunching in the first place ... ?

You are very unlikely to get any credit for anything past day 15 or 16. At day 14, they are declared late, and reissued. If they are returned after the reissued WUs, then they will be granted no credit, and will not help the science as they will be droped without inspection.

I love Boinc Seti. It's sometimes cunfusing, but thats just because it is more sophisticated! EVERY thing is good with Boinc, and i hope it will get better.
