Hi! I have posted what appears to me to be numerous "exited with zero status but no 'finished' files." Do I need to reset the project? This question has probably been answered many times but I would appreciate anyone's help on this as I just started working on SETI@Home using BOINC and I am not that knowledgable about computers. Thank you! Jim Curtis jhcis@dslextreme.com

5.8.11 (and .12 .13 .14) has this problem.

Fixed in 5.8.15

I recently downloaded BOINC and started running a SETI@home project. This may be a redundant post but I would appreciate any further clarification. I have had numerous "exited with zero status but no 'finished' file" messages in the last few days but I certainly don't want to reset if I don't have to. I am also concerned about "overheating" with the CPU. My processor is listed below. Should I set the CPU rate lower than 100% or am I worrying more than I should? Also, if I choose "no new tasks" will I be able to easily download more when I get caught up? Lastly, Can I pick which "Work Unit" to work on? The Work Units that are due first are halfway down the list and I would like to run the Work Units in order of when they are due. I started with a "5 day" cache and probably took on more work than I can handle over the long run. Thanks in advance for any advice from someone who has much more experience than I in these matters.
