I'm sure the project would too and they did look into it, but various political, proceedural, and policy issues made it a non-viable option for them.

They tried, but because the school is a Not For Profit, and the costs of the Paypal account, etc. are not feasible. They would have to have a separate checking account just for the Paypal. It's not going to happen.

Trust me.. I'm rather annoyed that we are unable to utilize Paypal. I even had all the code in place to do so, but the bureaucratic hoops to jump through made it impossible. The University is a large entity with many legal/fiscal protection mechanisms in place, and Paypal doesn't fit in with their big picture... yet.

As a possible workaround, you might consider letting "form filling" software fill in the Seti-Donate for.
RoboForm does a pretty good job of filling in the form - I only have to add/correct a couple of fields (and I probably could customize RoboForm to fix this if I took the time.
I have also used CitiBank "Virtual Account Number" software (kind of a 1-time-use Credit Card number that is billed to your "ral" CC number). Tis will fill in the form OK, but will only fill in the "virtual" number in IEm not FireFox. In FireFox, the user has to manually fill in the CC number.

I havenever looked for free Form-Filling Softwarem but it would not surprise me if it existed......
