For the 5th time this month, I canot get work from Seti nor can I upload, so comm is down. Why can't we get more than 2 work uknits at a time. 2 units only lastme 4 hours. I would like to get at least 8 in my queue to last a full day of seti being down for the count., Is there a place where I can stipulate this need like a preferences section? Yes...just set 'connect to network about every X days' to 4 or 5. In 'general preferences'. Then 'update' in the Boinc taskbar. You will then download enough work to last you through that time frame. What other project(s) are you running? BOINC works on a debt system, if a project gains too much debt it will not ask for work until the debt is paid off by the other projects. My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |

Ok alinator, I have found the preferences to adjust the amount of work. It is not exactly obvious but have about 10 units downloaded. TYVM |
