One of the features I have been most keen for is the new client/server model that would allow me to draw together all my workstations running BOINC into an administrative interface to allow me to remotely track their processing status. I can see all the computers I've joined to BOINC in my account details. Cool!

However, I thought I would also be able to change those other preferences such as we now have under the BOINC general or project-specific configurations available through the web-interface of each- obviously served at BOINC and setiathome headquarters respectively. Things like time restrictions. Was I wrong to think this, or is this on the BOINC to-do list?

I think it'll be a 3rd party addon dev to provide a single spot to manage all your systems, attaching, detaching, monitoring status, etc... I know of at least one dev who is working on this with a .NET/Mono project. Hopefully the boincgui developer will add this into boincgui, too. I think boincgui should compile under OS X, since it's all just Qt GUI ontop of boinc code. :-)
