Who are we? We are a newly formed team of some really long standing Seti crunchers and those new to the project as well, split off from the BroadbandReports.com SETI@Home club.

We have quite a few people that OC and very open forums moderated by people who want everyone to feel comfortable. You'll find us to be a very friendly lot.

We have an growing IRC server at irc.teamstarfire.net dedicated to BOINC, with the main channel being #team_starfire and more to come.


Team Starfire World BOINC will have teams for most BOINC projects and communicating about all BOINC related things is a part of our forums.

As you may have noticed we are a small team but our RAC is already in the top 10 and soon to be top 5, as well as Seti we have teams in almost all BOINC projects and they also perform well. We lost almost no production in the recent Seti outage due to our mullti Team support and our knowledge of BOINC.

On the other side we have an IRC channel, and a website that are full of interesting people. Fun is what we look for so we try not to take ourselves to seriously.

We do well but it is not what we are about, its the science we are about, and BOINC is the future so drop in and join the party, or just drop in and lurk awhile we know you will like what you see
