this thread needs to be set up like a friggin' bunker.

now where's my old tri-fold shovel......

Ahhh yes, the Good 'ole E-Tool :)

*Flashes back to digging out modified defensive area in low-crawl position*

Now we're havin' fun!
I realized the dead-end roads I ended up taking weren't always my fault. Many thanks to all that have helped in this - and you know who you are.

Well I was going to close it but...uhm, alternate base of operations now...

Yeah, let's keep it open, okay? If it's okay with you I might put up some chess problems here too. But maybe not. I don't much feel like working today. lol I'm going to kick back a bit, between Beethoven's and here.

How do you feel about it? Do you want some chess here, or not?

Are you ready for some chess?

Today's opener is called "All Along The Watchtower", because all along, black's rook is the problem. Enjoy!

I have to run, but I'll see if this is still unsolved in the morning.

Life is slowly returning to normal for me, Mike. I got my two wheels back from the mech shop.
My Baby, the caddy is back home, and so is my monster, "Moby Truck". The dogs just love Moby Truck!

Your competition:

Nah, you'd win hands down. Moby Truck is a masher, not a puller, and he's a Monster either going forward or especially backing up. I have lots of witnesses. lol

(btw, this bus isn't really my 3/4 ton white Ford van, but you get the idea, right?)

P.S. EEK! That picture is really wide, it's stretching our window. Have you got a smaller one?

It's not really mine, Cap'n, but it captures the spirit of mine: which is a 3/4 Ton Ford van that crunches other vehicles something awful, even at only 10 k/h. You should see it's victims. Talk about tin foil! lol

No, Mine is a 5.9L Turbo Diesel, get's 21 mpg (not towing), 325 horses with 610 lbs of torque...just off idle...I've put 30K behind it and it pulled it fine.

it holds 145 gallons full....do the math, lol.

Well, I can go about 2600 miles before filling up again...

Your F250 probably costs more, fuel wise.

EDIT: If I am towing something, it WILL run out of fuel at 2400 miles...go ahead, ask me how I know...
