The last time I had internet access to this computer was about a year ago. I was a seti@home participant and had just finished a block of data when I lost my internet...using what I've come to understand recently as the old system (the non-BOINC system). So, of course, when I try to connect with the old system it won't allow me to. Which means that I have this old, unsubmitted data lingering on my computer. I really wouldn't care except I have the flashing red and green satellite in my tray taking up space and annoying me. I know to get rid of this problem...I would just have to uninstall the old seti program, but that would delete the old data. Is there a way I can upload this old data to seti? |

u can delete it directly. and remove some keys in registry. if u can't find the key, you can search the string "SETI@hom", then delete it. Sean.YQ.Gao[Lm] , Skype: yq.gao Email: lm12041204@sohu.com , lm12041204@sina.com.cn |

No, the old data server is offline and all workunits not sent in are deemed invalid. The good news is that most of the data was never cross-referenced and was probably crunched a couple hundred times, so it probably didn't go to waste. Since BOINC fixed a lot of the server problems, the WU was probably crunched with the new SETI already and it's results already recorded into the database. |
