I haven't had a download to my computer for about 7 days. I keep getting deferred. What's going on? |

Could you copy the last 20 or so entries from your messages tab and paste them into a reply here? That would give us the complete errors BOINC is seeing, and let us know what it's trying to do. It would be helpful if you don't use the update button for a while, and use messages for that period, so we see just what BOINC is doing on its own. MJ |

The answer is in your log. 4/6/2006 8:10:53 AM||Suspending work fetch because computer is overcommitted. 4/6/2006 8:10:53 AM||Using earliest-deadline-first scheduling because computer is overcommitted. CPDN is in need of more computer time or may not complete processing by due date. Read about Using earliest-deadline-first scheduling because computer is overcommitted. in the Wiki. For most questions refer to the unofficial guide Paul. D. Buck's BOINC Wiki, now managed by Christopher Malton and Rytis SlatkeviÄÂius. It is the most comprehensive source of information on all things BOINC. Boinc V7.2.42 Win7 i5 3.33G 4GB, GTX470 |
