Hey, today it's two systems, no waiting here (#3 is down for a case transplant, cuz Dell doesn't stock its customized fans for 1 GHz Pentium IIIs...) but I can't get a work unit - even an answer! You need more users, ya say? Users need more work - Let's get that upgraded (actually 3rd upgrade, guys) work package on the road so we can find somthin' out there! Hi David, I see where one comp only has two wu's and the other only four. If you want to get more you should go to your preferences section of your user account on the website and change the "general preferences" setting "connect to project every X days" to a higher number. The maximum is 10. This should get you more work. It will give you a longer "turnaround time" but as long as the wu's are returned on time you will be good. I see where your third comp has not connected since the middle of Feb. Hope you can get it up and running soon. If you change the above setting and still have trouble getting work let us know. BTW, after you change your settings go into boinc in the "projects" tab, highlight seti and click "update" to get boinc to recognize the new settings. You should immediately see it start downloading more work. If not, wait a while to let it adjust to the settings and it should start. The scheduler has a delay built in that won't let you download new work too soon after downloading a previous batch. Jim Some people plan their life out and look back at the wealth they've had.
