The transcript of managerial, operational, and technological brinksmanship of this project reads like a soap opera. I hate soap operas.

I don't care why the project's principals can't motivate and inspire sufficiently to get sufficient funding to manage this project properly. I care that they have failed to do so, and expect me to tolerate the consequences. I'm not that tolerant.

Tis your choice. Of course, if you don't like soap operas, one only wonders why you'd even stop to tell everyone why you're leaving instead of just going.

It's the same old story. Those with the money don't have the imagination. They also have money because they won't "invest" in something that doesn't pay immediate dividends. Therefore, those at the sharp end will always be working hard to hold things together, and no amount of whingeing will cure that.
Carrying on like a pork chop only shows how deficient in IQ points you are.
If BOINC is idle, so is my PC. It takes no extra effort for me to carry on my normal life while my PC is idle, so why get angry?
