From John McLeod VII Teams only get credit for work that is turned in while a person is a member of that team. When the person leaves, the team does not loose the credit. A member of our team has stated that when Dazza moved from our team to another all his credits transferred with him, I said this couldn't happen as that is what I have read on various other websites and from what I have read in these forums. Well I had a look and yes all the credit has gone over to the team new, I thought this couldn't happen Any ideas? UBT & Dazza Checked on BOINC Synergy Stats service too and that says the same Join us in Chat (see the forum) Click the Sig Join UBT |

Hi I think you mixed that. The member who changed the team doesn´t loose his credits. But the Team credits stays also with the credits he crunched while he was in this Team. Mike With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

No I haven't mixed anything up all the credits he had have gone to the new team including any credits that were crunched for our team. If you look at his total credit and the total credit he has put into UBT they are exactly the same. If credits didn't transfer over then you would expect to see his total on UBT to be lower than his actual individual credits but they are exactly the same so that suggests all credit was transferred to the new team Join us in Chat (see the forum) Click the Sig Join UBT |

Did Lookers team total decrease by Dazza's amount? If not, then your team still has credit for all he crunched while a member. His total individual credits will still show what he crunched while on your team, but they aren't counted into the new team's total. As far as the new team, he begins at zero, but his stats will continue to show all credits. From BOINC WIKI What about earning Credit while a member of a Team? |

Hi, I don't think Lookers lost any credits. You had just passed 10 million credits when I left and you never dropped below that milestone. I felt quite guilty about leaving but was relieved to see it did not affect things for you. Dazza |

Sorry as well but the team members did not run many other projects, with the exception of yourself, and I wanted a team that were keen to rise the tables on most projects. I actually left when on over 200,000 credits and if you check the other projects you'll see that the figures don't add up to your totals. ie Primegrid you have a project total of over 7800 credit but individual user stats only add up to about 4000 credit. |
