Dear SETI@Home and BOINC Designers and Personell....

1 PC: ONLY Using a AMD K6+III 550@616, 112 FSB, SDRAM 256 2 2-2 PC133 unbuffered, non parity Munchkin. NOW I am Trying to Add Another Crucial SDRAM 256 2-2-2 PC-133, ( For 512 Mhz SDRAM), But The Crucial Doesn't seem to Work... p.s. I have Over 2131 Classic Work Units (with this little K6), (using a 3.03 cmd-line ), since June 12, 1999. I am Still Running the same PC for SETI Classic, at the same time as the BONIC, so I can Process and "UpLoad" ALL Those "Classic Work Units", after "reading the Tech Mail" as of December 15th, where it seems, that in the next Couple Weeks you "Will Collect those Classic "FINISHED" work Units. [ That Is ONLY FAIR - With Plenty of Notice ]......

I have a NEW ADSL Sprint Internet HUB 5000 / 768 High Security "Wireless-G 2.4Ghz" Linksys / Cisco Router Switcher with Firewall. I am Only using this OLD PC Now With A Hard-Wired NIC Card. The Router / Switcher Will Hander Three (3) more hard wired PC's With NIC Cards. It Will Also handle an Additional 32 Wireless; Desk-Tops, Notebooks, PDAs, or laptops. I have several Brand New Wireless Adapters for desktops, PDA's, and Notebook / Laptops......

All I need is some NEW or Used Computers.......

I have Been a Very Dedicated Member of SETI@Home since June 12, 1999......

I am on a Fixed Disability Medicare Income, so CASH is Extremely Short. So if you Have or Know others that Might have NEW or Used PC's, I would be most Gracious to Receive them.......

To Continue on Your GREAT Work. Even Though I Only Have an Associates Degree In Computer maintenance aand Logic. I am a true Scientist at Heart, and one of the Oldest Members of The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, as Well as a General Class Amateur Radio Operator Since 1959, and a Commercial Pilot, in Both Single and Multi-Engine Land, Single Engine Sea, and Glider; ALL Commercial Rated. Although, do to Income I have NOT Flown For Quite a Few Years...........

I also do some Volunteer Work For "The Department of HomeLand Security" without Pay, They Only gave Me a VERY SECURE Sprint.... ADSL Line.
It won't TraceRoute to Exactly Where I am.... Not Even the Right State.

But If You Could Send me some More Equipment, Believe me , I'LL MAKE IT WORK"........

And Also what Optional Programs for Statistics, ETC. that will Work with BOINC, that I should be using for Detailed Specs and Optimization............ Using Minimum Resources, for Obvious Reasons.........

73's and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,....

Sincerely Yours,.....

Jesse Charles Wagner II......

Like a 419 scam/operation.
Seen a lot of similar posts like this in other forums.
I bet the IP originates in Nigeria or UK.

From a phone number lookup:

The phone number "(717) 426-2809" is a Marietta, PA based phone number and the registered carrier is Sprint/united Telephone Of Pennsylvania. However, due to number portability, some numbers have been transferred to a new service provider other than the registered carrier.

This makes sense since his one email address is "@MariettaPA.com". It could be legit, but it does seem rather odd to me too.
