I have version 5.2.6 that I acquired from the Rosetta BOINC site. I have decided to stay with striclty Seti@Home BOINC. I saw teh notice to upload 5.1.2 version that should fix certain problems. Should I change back or stick with this version?

The problems with not able to upload, download or report units is currently a network issue at Seti. This is slowly getting fixed today as people are starting to report, but the backlog is humoungous and may take a few days to clear up.

5.1.13 is the current version and does have some minor fixes. If you have different issues with BOINC, besides the ones above (like Proxy, or ???) then you may want to update. It's not a mandatory update if things are working fine.

I would advise you to update to at least 5.2.8. I think that was the last one that had a fix that potentially affected everyone.
