I am using BOINC Version 4.25 and want to upgrade to 5.2.13 Will it transfer all my current work when I run install?
Or will I lose everything?

you should be able to install 5.2.13 safely over the top of 4.25 without an Uninstall. Should result in NO loss of work. If you're nervous, then wait and do it when seti is functional again and you have less to lose. They're not giving out work, so upgrading now isn't really of any benefit to you. It will be a benefit after they're working again.

If you insist on doing it, then make a copy of the full boinc folder and put it somewhere safe.
