I downloaded the new boinc_5.2.13_windows_intelx86, then clicked on the icon on my desktop. I get an error message "Error Reading Setup Initialization file". What is wrong, how can I run this program. I am using a new dell Inspiron 1200 computer with microsoft xp home edition. |

That happened to me - I downloaded it four times, with four different file sizes.. all had the same error message. I then ran it from the website instead of tryin to save it and it installed just fine. (Just in case subsequent downloads don't work for you, either - give that a shot.) :) "Contrariwise," continued Tweedledee, "If it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic." |
