Several of my hosts are completing workunits, but they are not showing up in my account - as a matter af fact, I think other users who are also working on the same workunit are receiving my credit. Has anyone else noticed this? 2005-08-09 21:46:26 [SETI@home] Computation for result 09my04aa.1197.6144.428408.106 finished 2005-08-09 21:46:26 [SETI@home] Starting result 16oc03aa.979.11330.417318.158_0 using setiathome version 4.02 2005-08-09 21:46:26 [SETI@home] Started upload of 09my04aa.1197.6144.428408.106_0_0 2005-08-09 21:46:26 [SETI@home] Finished upload of 09my04aa.1197.6144.428408.106_0_0 2005-08-09 21:46:26 [SETI@home] Throughput 88656 bytes/sec 2005-08-09 21:51:46 [SETI@home] Computation for result 16oc03aa.979.11330.417318.158 finished 2005-08-09 21:51:46 [SETI@home] Starting result 17no03aa.101.8146.504824.102_0 using setiathome version 4.02 2005-08-09 21:51:46 [SETI@home] Started upload of 16oc03aa.979.11330.417318.158_0_0 2005-08-09 21:51:46 [SETI@home] Finished upload of 16oc03aa.979.11330.417318.158_0_0 2005-08-09 21:51:46 [SETI@home] Throughput 114080 bytes/sec |

I'm relatively new to the boinc scene, but I've noticed that the returning of a completed workunit is a 2 step process. In my case I'll see the line you show indicating the upload occurred, but until either boinc initiates communication with the server to get more work, or I manually do an update, the actual result isn't sent and doesn't show up in my host's list of completed work. In addition to the upload message you show, at update time my logs show this...."[SETI@home] Requesting 8630 seconds of work, returning 1 results". If my queue is full the request for more work is 0 seconds, but it still shows a positive number of results returned if an upload has happened since the last update.. It's not until that portion of the process that the status of the workunit goes from 'in progress' to 'credit pending'. At the present time, due to some downtime and outages on the Berkeley side, there is a fairly sizable backlog of work waiting to be validated so the time it takes for credits to be applied will be considerably longer than usual until the servers all get caught up. |
