Hi all, I'm still having dramas with Boinc v4.45, but hey, it'll fix itself, right? Anyway, whilst reading through the forums, I saw that someone said Seti classic results will be added once Classic is over and done with. Is this the case? If so, I could be running Seti Classic whilst I wait for new work units. If not, I'll just stick with climateprediction.net, and delete Seti Classic. Any ideas?? |

I switched over to BOINC about 1.5 years ago, and I uninstalled classic at the time. There has not been a moment since August 2004 that I have not been able to get work from some BOINC project or other to keep my computers busy. Classic will be shut down soon (I believe within the next two months), and the classic stats will be updated on your account page only, they will not translate into BOINC credits. BOINC WIKI |

Seti classic and BOINC do not play well together. Classic will steal all the CPU cycles from BOINC and boinc won't have anything to play with. Classic stats will be kept as a tribute to the contribution you made to classic, but they will not be added into BOINC stats. |

Thanks guys! I reckon I'll keep it running for a few days more - just to reach the next milestone (300 WU's - yay!) then it's time to flush it. |
