Hello,

Instead of minimizing to the task bar why not have BOINC minimize to the system tray like classic did? Then you can get rid of "File ... Hide"

Not complaining, just gets annoying that I keep forgetting that minimize does not work the same as classic did.

Hello Terry,

there are two ways of minimization of the GUI/manager now:
1. Minimize (in the classic Windoze sense, i.e. go to task bar)
2. Close manager/Gui (it leaves the icon of the deamon in the sys-tray, and you can hide it)

And you can install it as a service. Then you can get rid of the icon at all if I got it right (don't run it that way myself ;)
