On the "Activate Account" page (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_email_form.php) it says on the top of the page "If you participated in SETI@home Classic before 23 March 2005..." More useful information would be that the Classic info will be connected to your BOINC S@H account iff the email address for classic and the email address for BOINC S@H are identical.
