Does any one know if I need to keep BOINC Manager 4.43 running in the background for Setiathome 4.18 to run properly? I have tryed turning it off, and it looks like Setiathome is still doing its thing. Is the manager required for seti to upload and download WU?

My credits haven't increased since I have been running 4.18. Is it significant that the bars around the different boxes in the graphics have turned red? I wish there were better documentation for this software.

Your computer is busily cranking out WU - so I'd suggest not worrying. The latest complete WU was today, but the last time you received credit was back on June 25, which is when the rest of us stopped receiving credit also. The SETI team's validator servers are having a problem; the team is aware and is working the issue. In the meantime, all of our WU are being completed and are being listed as "pending".

Go to the "Your Account" link, and you can see your individual results - your computer appears to be working fine.

Thanks, I was about to un install everything and reload it. Is there any significnace to the red color of the bars?
