Hi there.. well i am used to the old seti@home client that was so much easier then this ;)
well saw this project today adn didnt know about that seti was boinc now..

Well anyway my problem..
i open upp BOINC manager and nothing happens well it says local on it?? should it connect or something??
well i added a new project and write in Project url http://setiathome.berkeley.edu
and my account key..
and error just pops up or is it errors ??
A little help would be nice here :) messages under here

I can only respond to the schedulers part.. I am having the same problem right now. Even though the servers say they are up and running, I have 6 results to upload and nothing to currently work on.. I even upgraded to the latest and greatest hoping that would alieviate the problem..

All I can say is leave it running and hopefully whatever is going on will iron itself out.

hmm well i can connect to other projects like Proteinpredictor
just seti@home that i have problems with :S

There is a problem with the scheduler program such that it stops shortly after startup. We're looking into it


As the scheduler is the machine you're trying to talk to, this is probably your 'problem'.

I feel fine to see this message on a Sunday, seems like they are working overtime.

Seti is currently down. They had a server crash a few days back & now the scheduler keeps locking but there are plenty of other projects out there to do. The trick with Boinc is to join at least three projects. Usually at least one will be up. But even then sometimes, well, it can get kind of quiet.
