I know that I saw how to add another computer somewhere on the seti@home pages; however, I cannot find the page again. Could someone point me to the instructions? Thanks, Bill McIlwee wmcilwee@charter.net |

When you install Boinc on the second computer and run it, it will ask for a URL and project ID. Use the same ones you used on the first computer. If you didn't save the acct id (the long string of numbers and letters), I believe you can "log out" from the forums, and when logging in, say that you forgot your ID and an email will be sent with your original ID... Whatever you do, do not create a new account! The option to "log out" is under "view acct" near the bottom, and then do a "view acct" again, and there's a place to have seti email your acct id to you... |

An easier way is to copy the account*.xml file(s) from a working computer to the new computer and then start BOINC. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |
