Message 94234 - Posted: 3 Apr 2005, 2:20:05 UTC

I just upgraded from Seti@Home classic to the BIONIC version and when I opened the BIONIC window for the first time I went to "Attatch to a new project" to try and download one and nothing happened. I got the following messages in the Messages Section.

02/04/2005 9:14:37 PM||Starting BOINC client version 4.25 for windows_intelx86
02/04/2005 9:14:37 PM||No general preferences found - using BOINC defaults
02/04/2005 9:15:37 PM|http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/|Using your default project prefs
02/04/2005 9:15:37 PM||Insufficient work; requesting more
02/04/2005 9:15:38 PM|http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/|Master file fetch failed
02/04/2005 9:15:38 PM|http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/|Resetting project
02/04/2005 9:15:38 PM|http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/|Detaching from project

How do I start using my Seti@home throgh BIONIC anyway? I can't find any instructions for this.

To join a BOINC project:

Visit the project's web site and create an account. This involves filling out a form with
An email address.
A public 'screen name' (real name or nickname).
Other optional information
You will receive an email containing an account key (a long random string).
Download, install and run the BOINC client program. It will ask for a project URL and an account key. Cut and paste them from the email.

miromc,
It looks like you are expereincing the same v. 4.10 bug that several others are having. Have a look at the posting on graphics.
