I just sent back a WU: http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=8668512 There are 4 valid results, 3 received credit but mine (also valid) is pending. What's that?

Was the WU returned within the specified time limit? If so, then maybe the validator just hasn't had a chance to find it to validate it yet. Then again, maybe, just maybe, you found a bug (aka feature) Jim > I just sent back a WU: > http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=8668512 > > There are 4 valid results, 3 received credit but mine (also valid) is pending. > What's that? > |

The other 3 results were validated before you uploaded yours. You will eventually get the same credit as has been granted to the others

AFAIK as soon as the validator get's by you're WU, and proclaims it as valid, you will be granted the 36.82 credits the other got. I think you ULed after the valitators last round, but befor deadline, so just be patient ;-) Gruesse vom Saenger For questions about Boinc look in the BOINC-Wiki |

As stated before, 4 WU go out, when 3 come back they get validated. The 4th, when it comes back will then get validated and get the same amount of credit the other 3 did, if all goes well. Since the validator is behind, it may take a while to validate that one stray WU. No biggie. My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |
