If you want to change from public (4.19) to developer (4.21/4.62) you have to uninstall first. I presume the other way around is the same procedure. I just restarted my computer and hey presto, BOINC 4.62 is stable and running. I think an installer update to restart PC before run is necessary. ID: 79650 ·
