would it be possible to switch between attached projects or attach several projects and deactivate them.
so that for example if seti would be down you could easily switch to lhc this time without all this attaching and detaching.
or if you're reaching the deadline in seti you gonna disable lhc and continue seti. (ok at this i'm not really sure if it is already solved in 4.X)

The first answer is that BOINC will do this completely automatically. Just attach to both. A warning about shares that are too lopsided is that the lower ranking one will use some CPU time, but never get anything in on time.

The second answer is that in 4.20 and later there is a project suspend.
