I think so too, it will decrease games performance. Especially on hardcore games such as C$C Generals or Unreal Tournament. So all I do is just shut SETI Off while I play :)

Just as seti is low priority, and tries to stop running when the user is running some other program, seti on a GPU would try to "get out of the way" if the graphics card were suddenly to start being used.

In theory it would remove itself from graphics memory to regular memory if the graphics card started doing 3D operations, or some other criteria.
