We should have better control over merging are own hosts. |

It appears to if you change the computer's operating system or CPU, that BOINC will not allow you to merge the computer event though its the same machine. I now have several redunant listings of the same computer an BOINC will not allow me to merge them - "upgrades" are inevitable. I suspect that they are trying to maintain statistics based on CPU & operating system. I can understand that, but from a computer management stand-point, there needs to be a way to merging a host even if the OS or CPU is "upgraded". |

You will be able to delete that host, once all results are validated and removed from the DB. Every credit is added to your total credits and to the machine credits. If a machine is deleted, the machine credit will be deleted, but the total credits remain unchanged. since 29-Jun-2004: |
