Profile: Atmos

Personal background
Hello,

I'm Atmos, from Hungary, Europe. I'm 19 years old and graduated from secondary school in 2013 where I studied information technology. I'm going to continue my studies in college where I'll take Japanese Language and Culture course. And I'm quite interested in space and all subjects regarding it.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Why do you run SETI@home?
I run it because this project seems to be quite interesting to me, and it would be really awesome to find extraordinary intelligence. If there's a chance to find it, then I'd like to be the first one. Besides that, it's fun to see all those signals running on my screen.

2. What are your views about the project?
My views about the project are I think it's quite good and useful to gather volunteers together to work on the same project, and by simply letting your desktop or even your laptop to run by itself and doing the calculations while you don't even have to hit a single button. You just go make yourself a cup of coffee and your computer does the required calculations like a charm. I believe that this (type of) project can bring space discovery to a whole new level.

3. Any suggestions?
Well, I've been using the software for a few days only, so no suggestions yet. However, I think you could improve the graphical interface of the screen saver, although I believe that some people manage to run the software in low-end computer environment.
