| Hi, My name is Rene Torres, and I am an Ex US Army Officer and I now work for HB Fuller Company. I am in Sales and I work selling specialized strings and tapes for many industries. I even sold string to the manufacturers of the O-rings for the space shuttle. I live in Mountain Top PA. I am here with my wife, LeeAnn; my daughter, Danielle; her husband, Hunter; and their son- my grandson Logan. My son, Christopher and his wife, Katerine are living in Philadelphia. My hobbies include doing this work for SETI, riding my motorcycle, collecting watches and shooting. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I run SETI@home because I believe that there is life out there - somewhere. I hope they are somewhat intelligent and that they can send out radio or TV waves like us.
I think it is cool that an average guy can participate in this program. I hope that I can be the one to help find that key thing to help prove intelligent life on other worlds.
