Profile: Jack Percival

Personal background
I am a 34 year old male living in the North East of England. I would like to make my computer available for S.E.T.I. to use to help compute the data retrieved and look for anomalous signals from outer space.

I am open minded on the UFO topic and believe I have had a couple of unexplained sightings in my life. I think we live in a magnificent universe and I do not believe we are the only intelligent sentient beings who occupy it.

There are hundreds of billions of suns in our galaxy, many of these suns have planets which orbit them. There are hundreds of billions of galaxies in the cosmos so I think it is mathematically impossible we are alone!

My main academic interests are Science, Forbidden Archeology (Reading about it not digging into the ground), and Computing.

I am new to S.E.T.I. @ Home and I welcome any individuals to join my newly created team "England (North East)" and maybe we can achieve a large number of members.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1).
I want to help S.E.T.I. discover a genuine extra terrestrial signal from elsewhere in our magnificent universe.

2).
I think the S.E.T.I. project has admirable and achievable ambitions.

3).
I suggest you inform me immediately when a genuine signal is detected (I wish!).
